  1. Public Transportation has significant potential for the storage of carbon.
  2. Vessels are carbon reservoirs. They are like trees which store the
    Greenhouse Gas reductions in Lines or Branches when people become riders.
  3. Public Transit reduces the load on arteries in both urban & rural settings.
  4. Cities & Regions are encouraged to increase market share of public transit
    from a typical 1.5-9%.
  5. Shipping and delivery of packages expands the reach of the rider.
  6. Riders of higher density, high velocity systems may enjoy a beverage,
    partake in a multimedia event, read the paper, participate in conversation, work with an electronic device or view the scenery in comfort shepherded by a professional driver.
  7. Carbon reductions may be traded on behalf of administrations to emission
    producers to help meet their emission limits, promote and finance the transfer of technology.
  8. Carbon offsets employed to directly fund planning and construction of
    branches of transit systems.
  9. Retire long-term debt from the construction of public transit systems.
  10. Transit systems must be expanded upon quickly, efficiently & safely to
    reduce the threat to our planet.
  11. Cities and regions utilize the Odd/Even scheme to reduce traffic congestion and Greenhouse gases resulting from commuting on major thoroughfares, and commute on the Information Superhighway.
  12. Reduce Greenhouse Gases in embodied energy of transportation
    infrastructure and vessels.
  13. Utilize Pedal powered or electric assist bicycle conservation factor of 42 to
    reduce Greenhouse Gases.
  14. Encourage hydrogen and hydrogen fuel cell propagation for PMV, Rail,
    Vessels and mass transit.
